about

This is the 4th Song we recorded for the new EP that have all been created and produced under the working title ‘Songs of Solace’.

The song is to me like a gentle stream – a caravan of hope - with an almost hypnotic flow. There are not the big fluctuations in melody or chords. No big epic tale. Just a calm, persistent assurance that everything will work out, that everything will fall into place - if we allow for it to happen and trust. Not like a passive waiting, but still. We cannot force and control Life the way many of us tend to do.

The songs often come to me as ‘downloads’ when I set the right frame. This song is certainly no exception. I'm not sure I would dare this statement myself - especially at a time dominated by such great sadness, change and uncertainty. That’s why it feels all the more important.

lyrics

It will all work out
It will all come to pass
It will all work out
If you let it

It will all be fine
It will all come in time
It will all be fine
If you just allow

Don't try to figure it all out
You cannot
You will only be slowing things down
And you cannot control the outcome
Surrender
Or it will lock you down

It will all work out
It will come to pass
It will all work out
If you let it

It will all be fine
It will all come in time
It will all be fine
If you just allow

You don’t have to figure it all out
You don’t have to figure it all out
You cannot figure it all out

Easy grip on the stick
Or there will be no water to find
Easy grip on the stick
Easy go – easy flow
Don't force your way
Do not denigrate your Self

The Steinway Grand Piano has always been a centerpiece in her home, and Astrid Nora started playing and singing her own songs early on. ... more
